This Camillia bush was planted from a cutting that came from my family home. It barely survived for years in Roanoke with little growth and very few blooms. Within a few months after my mother died it suddenly took off in a major growth spurt and continues to produce numerous blooms at times of year special to my mother: Thanksgiving, Christmas and Valentines Day! At these times, it always gives me a few perfect blooms to bring indoors. It also blooms in early spring.
